Terms of Service

Service Overview:

We, At Dust to Brush, provide professional residential/home cleaning services as per the specifications outlined in our service agreement.

Services may include general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and other tasks agreed upon with the client.

Booking and Payment:

Bookings can be made through our website or by contacting our customer service.

Payment is due at the time of booking.

We accept credit cards, cash, check, Paypal, Zelle.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments 24 hours before the scheduled service without incurring a fee.

Cancellations or rescheduling made after this period may be subject to a $50 fee.

Access to Premises:

Clients must provide access to the premises at the scheduled service time.

If access is not possible, and we were not notified within one hour of the scheduled service time, a 20% fee of the total bill will apply.

Client Responsibilities:

Clients are responsible for securing valuable items before the cleaning service.

Clearing Clutter: Clients are responsible for ensuring that all living and working spaces scheduled for cleaning are clear of excessive clutter. This includes personal items, loose belongings, and any obstacles that may hinder the cleaning process.

Heavy Furniture: Clients should make arrangements for the movement of heavy furniture, as our cleaning team is not authorized to lift or move items exceeding a reasonable weight limit. If specific areas require cleaning underneath or around large furniture pieces, clients are responsible for temporarily relocating or adjusting these items. In the event client needs cleaning personnel to move any furniture a small fee will be assessed at the time of service.

Inform us of any special instructions, areas to avoid, or specific cleaning products not to be used.

Service Quality:

We strive to provide high-quality cleaning services. If the client is dissatisfied, they must contact us within 24 hours to address the issue.

Change Work Order:

At any time during the cleaning process should the client need any other area cleaned that was not spelled out in the four corners of the already booked agreement, a work change order will be created and an additional fee will be assessed.

Liability:

While we take utmost care in our services, we are not liable for damages to items not properly secured, pre-existing damages, or unforeseen issues during the cleaning process.

Exclusions from Cleaning Services

Our cleaning company reserves the right to refuse cleaning services for certain biohazardous situations, including but not limited to:

  • Hazardous Material Handling: We do not provide cleaning services for situations involving the handling or removal of hazardous materials, chemicals, or substances that require specialized expertise and licensing.

  • Medical Waste: Our team does not handle or clean areas with medical waste, including sharps, needles, or any biohazardous materials generated from medical procedures.

  • Illegal Substances: Cleaning services will not be rendered in locations where the presence of illegal substances or drug paraphernalia poses a safety risk to our team.

  • Extreme Hoarding:We reserve the right to refuse cleaning services in cases of extreme hoarding where the accumulation of items poses a severe health or safety risk.

  • Infestation Beyond Scope: Situations involving severe pest or vermin infestations beyond the scope of typical cleaning measures may be declined, and clients will be advised to seek specialized pest control services.

  • Human and Animal Waste: We do not provide cleaning services for areas contaminated with human or animal waste.

Privacy and Security:

We respect the privacy and security of our clients' homes. Our team members undergo background checks, and we ensure the confidentiality of client information.

Safety Measures:

For the safety of our team, we request that clients keep pets secured or away from the cleaning area during service.

Termination of Service:

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. Outstanding payments must be settled upon termination.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.

By using our services, clients agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
